Comment As uniforms were most definitely worn by staff of the DSET (see link), there is a distinct probability that marked buttons were issued, though to date, none have been positively identified. The DSET was a subsidiary of the New General Traction Company, which at various times also owned the Coventry Electric Tramways Company and the Norwich Electric Tramways Company, so it is tempting to speculate whether the buttons used on DSET uniforms would have been similar to the script-initial buttons known to have been used by the NETCo.
