Comments Photographs of the SE&SBT have not survived, and contemporary descriptions of the tramway do not mention tramcar staff, so there is unfortunately nothing available to indicate whether or not staff wore uniforms (see link); however, given that the successor company — the West Metropolitan Tramways Company — did not issue uniforms, it would seem likely that the staff working this early tramway simply wore informal attire, and that marked buttons therefore never existed.
