The Yorkshire (West Riding) Electric Tramways Co Ltd (YETCo) was a subsidiary of the Yorkshire Electric Tramways Construction Syndicate Ltd, the company which also built the Wakefield and District Light Railways (W&DLR). The YETCo therefore consisted of two unconnected systems, the W&DLR and a line linking Normanton, Pontefract and Castleford. Following the YETCo's takeover of the W&DLR, staff of the latter were almost certainly issued with YETCo uniforms and buttons.
